Sink your teeth into a slice of a warm, tasty treat with this Air Fried Protein Banana Bread recipe.

This isn’t your grandma’s banana bread recipe – we’re elevating this classic with USN BlueLab Whey to complement the natural sweetness of ripe bananas and the delightful crunch of pecans and the sweet surprise of chocolate chips.

Dry ingredients

  • 2 scoops USN BlueLab Whey, Banana Milkshake flavour
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 30g chocolate chips
  • 50g pecan nuts

Wet ingredients

  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 65g coconut oil
  • 60ml milk
  • 60g maple syrup

Method

  1. Whisk the eggs together in a separate bowl. Mash the bananas in a bowl. Add the milk, maple syrup, vanilla essence, coconut oil, and eggs. Whisk all wet ingredients together and set aside.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients together in bowl, mixing the protein powder, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, chocolate chips, and pecan nuts together.
  3. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Spray a baking dish with Spray & Cook and pour in the mixture.
  5. Place the baking dish in the air fryer. Cook at 160°C for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove and allow to cool. Slice and serve.
