Sink your teeth into a slice of a warm, tasty treat with this Air Fried Protein Banana Bread recipe.
This isn’t your grandma’s banana bread recipe – we’re elevating this classic with USN BlueLab Whey to complement the natural sweetness of ripe bananas and the delightful crunch of pecans and the sweet surprise of chocolate chips.
Dry ingredients
- 2 scoops USN BlueLab Whey, Banana Milkshake flavour
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
- 30g chocolate chips
- 50g pecan nuts
Wet ingredients
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 65g coconut oil
- 60ml milk
- 60g maple syrup

Method
- Whisk the eggs together in a separate bowl. Mash the bananas in a bowl. Add the milk, maple syrup, vanilla essence, coconut oil, and eggs. Whisk all wet ingredients together and set aside.
- Combine all dry ingredients together in bowl, mixing the protein powder, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, chocolate chips, and pecan nuts together.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until well combined.
- Spray a baking dish with Spray & Cook and pour in the mixture.
- Place the baking dish in the air fryer. Cook at 160°C for 30 minutes.
- Remove and allow to cool. Slice and serve.
