The rural dirt roads of the Overstrand will host South Africa’s most anticipated gravel-cycling events as the Stanford 100 Miler returns. Now in its fourth edition, this handcrafted event has grown in stature and ambition, attracting many of South Africa’s top gravel and endurance riders while maintaining its hallmark mix of authenticity, community, and pure riding joy. The route winds through some of the country’s most spectacular terrain and unique quaint villages, looping from and returning to the historic town of Stanford, offering riders an uncompromising and unforgettable finish to the year’s gravel calendar. This year, the event expands with the introduction of a 25 Miler, created for new gravel riders eager to experience the thrill of racing off-road without the full distance or 50 Miler.
