This No Bake Pumpkin Pie Protein Bites recipe rolls cosy autumn flavours with muscle-building protein into one bite-sized snack.

They’re quick and easy to make, easy to store, and perfect for an on-the-go snack.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup mashed pumpkin
  • 1 scoop Biogen Grass Fed Whey Protein, Vanilla flavour
  • ½–¾ cup oats, almond flour, or coconut flour (adjust to get a rollable texture)
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed flour
  • 1–2 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Sugar (to roll/dust)
  • Chocolate chips (for “pumpkin stems”)

Biogen Grass Fed Whey is formulated without added sugars, preservatives and colours. Whey protein concentrate is an easily digested protein and is rich in Essential Amino Acids (EAAs) and Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs), to promote muscle repair.

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine the mashed pumpkin, protein powder, flour of choice, and flaxseed flour. Stir well, then mix in the honey and a pinch of salt. Adjust the flour as needed to form a soft, rollable dough.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls. Use a toothpick to gently press lines around the edges, forming mini “pumpkin” ridges.
  3. Press a chocolate chip into the top of each ball to mimic a pumpkin stem. Dust lightly with sugar for a sweet finish.
  4. Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to firm up. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for quick snacks throughout the week.
